February 28, 2006

Hello,

We have all made it back home.  Sorry about how long it has taken to get this e-mail out, but the last few days have been extremely rushed.

Saturday we all spent the day in Antigua, unwinding from the week and shopping for small reminders of our time spent in Guatemala.  We made it back to the house in Guatemala City around 5:00 were we had dinner and began to pack for our flight.  Waking up at 3:00 so that we could leave at 4:15 sounded a lot easer the night before but all of us were able to make it to the van and then to the airport.  All of our flights were relatively calm and no major problems occurred during the traveling.  We are proud to say that all made it home.

I wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for keeping us in your prayers and supporting us.  Everything went extremely smooth this past week.  No person became ill, injured, (except Garry, he rolled his ankle, but we took care of him.)  and all were able to keep very light hearted and adjusted to any problem that we may have run into.

Again, thank you for all of your support and prayers.  I have attached a copy of a picture of the group in Antigua with two of our interpreters.  Feel free to grab one of the team members and ask questions. After filing the memories and pictures of the last 12 days in our minds we all can hardly wait to tell you all about our own personal experiences and how God touched each one of us.

In Christ Alone,

The Guatemala Mission Team
