Defenestration of Pastor Glen's Office

    We began this summer's project by playing "musical chairs" with offices. The Music Ministry Office moved first to temporary storage; then Pastor Glen could move into the Music Ministry office; then the Nursery moved to Pastor Glen's office; then the Youth Ministry room could move to the Nursery; Then the Sunday School Office could move to the Youth Room; then Day Care could move to the Gym, stage left; then the Youth Director's office could move to the Day Care Office; and finally the music office will move to the Youth Director's office.

    The hope is that the new Nursery location will better serve the needs of young families who will find Salem's ministry a place to serve and o enjoy. And Pastor Glen, moving over to the school side of the campus, will be able to help the pastoral needs of the school part of our congregation with a visible presence. And the youth will have a better opportunity to flow from their "formal" room into the gym and back more easily. Some location changes are being implemented because we hope ministry will be more effective in the new place. Some location changes just necessary. All ministry should be able to serve the Lord well in their new places, however.
