Careful! Now where does that line run?

Today we are doing some of the final stages of deconstruction -- and a lot of the beginniings of reconstruction. Pulling down wall treatments, removing nails, painting the music office, re-wiring office lines, setting the stage for redecorating. We expect to lay the new carpet in the music office this week and to begin "moving in" next weekend. The youth room is already mostly "moved in," but still in piles: piles that need to sorted and organized as time permits. We still have dust in the Parish Hall -- but we are moving toward dustless environs!

Pull that nail!

Stack that rail!

Clean that lumber.

He ain't heavy, he's my brother!

Gloves really speed the work up.

Let's see. Two cardboards wide....

In the new Music Office, sanding the trim...

and vacuuming the dust.

Up in the crow's nest.

Rigging the foresail.
Much of wall treatment is gone...and joists. On Sunday, during second service (after having gone to first servce) work continued in the Gym -- to get ready for tomorrow's Basketball Camp -- and in the Music Office to put on more coats of needed paint.

Fred sets the example...

and watches his son learn.

Clean that floor.

Lois rolls another coat.

Steve boogies "down," twenty feet in the air!
