Narthex Renovation Begins June 23, 2002
| After Second Service, we gathered in the narthex of the church to remove all the furniture, the hardware, all nails and screws from the walls. We filled holes, sanded, and painted. In preparation for completion by next Sunday, we also sorted materials for the children and relocated some of the pictures and furniture.
The plan is to design a space that will lead worshippers toward the sanctuary -- with the goal of worship in mind. Planning and implementation are being organized by the Worship Ministry and friends. |
