Salem’s Health Ministry Cabinet sponsors an educational Health Forum every month or two during the Sunday School hour. On July 28, 2002, an oncology nurse from Glendale Memorial Hospital, Denise Paup-Woodcock, RN., presented an information seminar on cancer screening. In a presentation that is likely to strike darkly the hearts of many of the listeners, she caused several ripples of chuckles at her dry-humored descriptions of some less-than-popular treatments.
