Kevin, with his mother and grandmother, is wrapped in his quilt.

Each year our high school graduates are honored and supported by the congregation as they advance toward their new, more independent life. Letting them go, yet holding our love for them firmly in both our hearts and theirs, we craft a memory quilt to enfold them in our warmth.

Squares are made by family and friends and they are fashioned into wonderful hand-made quilts by our quilter extraodenaire, Lee Clarke, and her BZB Quilting friends. One of the many Hand-in-Hand activities of Salem Lutheran, we try to reach across generations to care for and about our Salem Family.

Bryan, Daniel, Lechelle, Daniel, and Kevin receive their quilts at a June Sunday morning worship service.

They will have a physical reminder to remember the love that Salem has given them with their families, in their growing years.
