Lay out the cheese for hearty cheeseburgers
Monday through Saturday The Salvation Army provides a free meal to those who need it. But The Salvation Army is closed on Sundays so its members may worship and have their day of rest. So... No meal for the hungry? Not so. Six churches in Glendale have opened their campuses and other churches provide additional volunteers so that Food for Body & Soul can provide a meal on Sundays. Salem hosts each year during July and December.

 ...and watermelon for dessert? |
 Freshly grilled hamburgers... |
 ...cooked to perfection. |
 Bunning the burgers. |
 ...and preparing for worship. |
 The aroma of a delicious lunch |
 ...thrills the hungry diners... |
 ...and the smoke drifts upwards... |
 ...and pleases the Lord. |

 ...and serve cool, refresing drink. |
 We pray our blessing... |
 ...and line up to eat. |

 ...and all the fixings? |
 Here's some potato salad for you... |
 ...and watermelon and rolls. |
 Helping others pleases us, too. |
For the next three weeks, we will be serving Food for Body & Soul lunches at Salem Lutheran Church.
You are welcome to come eat if you hunger. You are welcome to come serve if you can. You are welcome to come worship always. 1:00 to 3:00 pm |
