And one of our tasks of preparation is to fix and repair and to make usable some of our property that has fallen into disrepair. Both parsonages (Del Rey and Mountain Ave) are seriously in need of repairs to insure their continued usability and the Fireside Room needs a remodel to enhance its usefulness as a meeting and learning room.
So The Big Fix-Up fundraising campaign is now underway to encourage $110,000 in donations so that we can repair and renew these three important properties of Salem. Watch the handle turn red, and then the shaft, and finally the hammer head will be filled in as we rise towards our goal. The ministry of the Lord will go forward into the 21st century.
