Delicious Pasta Luncheon a part of the Silent Auction

The Women of Salem's Silent Auction was September 18th. We held it to raise money for our benevolence budget which supports three children and thirteen charities. It was most successful financially but also on a fellowship level as well. We have been asked to make it an annual event. Don't know if it will always be a silent auction but we will do something each fall. The pictures show Salem families shopping to bid on the items (over a hundred choices), then we had a catered pasta dinner, then the winning bids were announced. Barbara Denton and Lee Smith tallied up the bid scores and told us who won. Edith Close, President, announced the winners. Many different age groups attended the event -- from children to seniors.
