Walk by the Water Children's Sermon

return to Worship
Pastor Banke leads discussion in the Children's Sermon
    During the 11:00 worship service -- each week -- the children leave the sanctuary at the begining of the sermon and walk, following an acolyte who carries the "Walk By The Water" baptismal banner, to the adjacent Fireside Room for a Children's Sermon. The sermon is usually conducted by one of the pastors -- or by a lay person -- who makes the message of the day useful and clear to the small ones. They return to the sanctuary, kneel at the altar while the offering is brought forward and the Holy Communion service is prepared, and then return to the pews where their parents await them. Of course, parents are always welcome to join their children for the Children's Sermon.
