| Pastor Terry Allen, who was Associate Pastor at Salem during the mid-nineties and remains a member at Salem with her family (she serves the Lord in her call to chaplaincy -- so she does not have a parish where she preaches each Sunday), was guest preacher on July 21, preaching on "What a Relief" (based on the day's Gospel reading Matthew 13: 24-43). What a relief it is that God will do the judging and we needn't bother! That God will be responsible for determining our afterlife and God leaves us to live, saints and sinners both together, on this world.
