Thanks to each and every person in Salem Lutheran Church for what you did to make our Lenten, Triduum and Easter Sunday services and activities go so beautifully and inspire so many people. I will not risk leaving someone out by creating a list! Yes, there are wonderful things going on around Salem whose originator (s) I have yet to discover!

Even though I am not going to create a list (someone else can), if I were to create a list I would for sure not leave off it –

All who worshipped, sang, prayed, directed, played instruments, baptized, taught, word processed, folded, cooked, cleaned up, made offerings, smiled, hugged, cried, comforted, laughed, listened, helped, hoped, ironed, spoke, played, hid eggs, emptied trash, trimmed palms, built fires, carried crosses, torches and the Bible, hung cloth, raised banners, poured wine, arranged vessels, washed dishes and linens, lifted and moved furniture, handed out bulletins and palm fronds, tidied up pews after worship, vacuumed, ushered, counted money, entered data – who and what would I be leaving out if I was creating a list?

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Interim Pastor Ford

P.S. Easter Sunday was the first of 7 Sundays of Easter. We continue to worship and celebrate and learn from Our Risen Lord and Savior each Sunday of Easter. I hope to see you again this coming Sunday.
