Junior High

Many of the middle school/junior high people at Salem attend confirmation classes on Tuesday nights, September-May.  In confirmation we go beyond studying the Bible and Jesus’ teachings, we discuss social justice issues, have guest speakers, watch important programs, go on service events and basically do things to better ourselves, our communities and the world outside. 

Besides confirmation class, this group also takes trips, attends retreats and goes bowling and to movies as well as performs service projects around Los Angeles.  We annually go to the LA Midnight Mission to serve meals.  Please check out the calendar and see what’s coming up.
