VBS for Back Yards!
Instead of gathering every day for VBS, you'll get an email
every week with VBS activities for the whole family to do together
at home, on their own schedule and in their own space.
Even Grown-ups can recapture the wonder of a childlike faith
through Bible stories, music, crafts, outdoor activities,
and adult size reflection questions. Included is a private
Facebook group to share sing-alongs and post photos of our crafts
with everyone else at Salem Lutheran!
Once a week for Five Weeks

G.I.F.T. - Growing in Faith Together
In regular times, we meet at 9:15am on Sunday's in Pastor Amie’s office for 30 mins of learning together.
We use the FAITH5 (Faith Acts In The Home) steps: Share, Read, Talk, Pray and Bless. This method of learning enriches communication, deepens understanding and promotes faithful relationships between parents and children.
In COVID-19 times, we are attempting several “touch-points” with our children and families. Pastor Amie is recording Bedtime Bible Stories and posting them on the Salem YouTube Channel. “The Story” bible trading cards are being sent home for children to use during our 31 week sermon series based on “The Story,” a condensed and chronological Bible. Families are encouraged to read “The Story” chapters in the children’s bible version. And occasional videos and suggested activities are being emailed to families to do during this time of "staying at home.”
Children’s sermons are offered
at every in-person and ZOOM
