Family Promise of the Verdugos - since 2010 it has served homeless families with children in the Burbank and Glendale area - it serves 50 families at a time. It works closely with churches in Burbank and Glendale. In 2019 it helped 147 families find housing. They have an Empty Bowl fundraiser in October and they are in need of towels and Blankets. When we can do things with people again, this is a philanthropy that will ask for in-person volunteers to share an evening meal and play games with the kids. A great way to practice generosity.
